It looks like the Stone Temple Pilots' first EP with new frontman Chester Bennington won't be their last with the Linkin Park singer.

STP bassist and co-founder Robert DeLeo tells "Billboard" there were a lot of ideas floating around during the sessions for "High Rise," which arrives in stores today.  DeLeo says they probably have enough for another EP, but they don't want to rush things.

He says he wishes they had time to put together a full album, but they want their first full-length to be the best they can produce so they're not going to force it.

The Stone Temple Pilots' last full-length release was 2010's self-titled effort.  At that time the band was still led by Scott Weiland, who was fired from the group earlier this year.
